Federal Government Public School No.1 (Boys), Wah Cantt was established in1952. Initially, it was established under Cantonment Board as Junior Public School. Later, It was upgraded as Secondary Public School in 1958. In 1975, the school was taken over by Federal Government Educational Institutions, Islamabad. Finally, it was handed over to Federal Government Educational Institutions (Cantts/Garrisons) Directorate under GHQ (Rawalpindi). The school was offering co-education since its inception. In the year 1999, it was bifurcated into Boys and girls schools. Since then, it has been contributing its remarkable services as FG Public School No.1 (Boys), Wah Cantt.

To equip the wards of Armed Forces personnel as well as of civilians residing in cantonments/ garrisons throughout the country to be creative, dynamic and useful members of society by providing an unparalleled and healthy educational environment, rendering them an opportunity to get purposeful and quality education and fostering their skills so that they may play an effective role in the progress of the country.

Welcome to FG Public School No.1 (Boys), Wah Cantt. Our aim is to prepare our students to face the challenges of the 21st century by fostering critical thinking, creativity and problem-solving skills. The summer camp is being arranged in our school from 05 to 23 March 2023. All students of classes VIII, IX, and X will attend in proper school uniform.
